Programs & Tours

We are excited to guide you through some of Cincinnati's historic and beautiful churches on one of our public tours, a private/group tour, or a live presentation that brings these stories to you.

Click "Public Tours" to view and book your spot on an upcoming public tours, or contact us to book a private tour or presentation for your group.

Our public tours offer an in-depth exploration of a single historic church or sacred space over the course of two hours. Rather than a quick overview, each tour is a deep dive into Cincinnati’s Catholic history, the story of the parish, and the people who built and sustained it.

You’ll discover the meaning behind the art and architecture, from stained glass and sculpture to symbolic design elements woven throughout the space. Along the way, we share the stories of the artists, donors, and communities who shaped these churches, while also explaining relevant Catholic symbolism and traditions to bring each detail into context.

Tours are intentionally kept small to create an engaging, conversational experience where questions are encouraged throughout. While the content is rich and in-depth, it is presented in a way that is accessible and welcoming to all—no prior knowledge of Catholicism is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to look closely.

We currently have two tour series running: Tracing Traditions: The History of Cincinnati Catholics in Six Churches and "In Season." "Tracing Traditions" includes six churches that were chosen specifically for how they encapsulate six distinct time periods in Cincinnati Catholic History. The "In Season" tour series, connects specific church tours to each month (though somewhat loosely) based on feast days, cultural events, etc.

Each tour can be a standalone event! Just pick and choose which ones you want to attend.

Sacred Heritage Tours offers private group tours and presentations for parishes, senior groups, homeschool co-ops, schools, women’s groups, alumni groups, book clubs, families, and out-of-town guests.

Private programs can be tailored to your group’s interests, including Cincinnati Catholic history, sacred art and architecture, parish history, immigrant communities, women religious, and the Catholic story of the region. Programs may focus on a single church, a specific topic, or a broader historical theme.

Private group experiences offer more room for conversation, questions, and deeper discussion than a public tour. They are a meaningful option for group outings, parish enrichment, adult faith formation, homeschool history studies, or hosting visitors.

Standard 60-minute private group tours and presentations begin at $15 per person, with a $200 group minimum. Longer programs, full-length private tours, multi-site tours, or highly customized events may be priced separately.

Weekday and custom scheduling options are available.
